This pendant was meticulously drilled and cut by hand from an actual 5 ore coin from Norway. It features a moose.
The moose is the largest of all deer species. Interestingly, in Europe the animal we call a moose is referred to as an elk, and the animal we call an elk is referred to as a wapiti. In Norway, moose are hunted for sport and food, and are an important part of history and culture.
This coin is 27 mm and is copper in color. It comes on a strong and hypoallergenic 20" stainless steel chain. Other chain or cord options are possible upon request.
